Katherine & Ronnie | Engagement
Old Town Alexandria, Virginia

It rained. We rescheduled. Then, it rained again. So, we rescheduled again. That saying, “the third times the charm” in this case was absolutely on point!! Katherine and Ronnie’s engagement session in Old Town Alexandria was so perfect and totally made up for all the rescheduled days! The sun was shining and the weather was beautiful!! I am so lucky that I have such an amazing and flexible couple!!

When I first met Katherine and Ronnie, I was amazed at how relaxed they were! Ronnie was cracking jokes and making Katherine laugh from the minute we started their engagement session!! THAT IS THE DREAM!! I couldn’t have asked for a cuter couple to wander around Alexandria with!

The best part of our engagement session was hearing their love story from Ronnie’s perspective. He told their story with such conviction and confidence, and it was so powerful! Ronnie doesn’t believe in coincidences, he believes God absolutely created their story, and I totally agree! Ronnie and Katherine met at a school fair. Katherine was hosting the fair, but Ronnie wasn’t supposed to be working it at all. He was called in last minute. As soon as he saw Katherine, he knew he had to ask her out! The next day he emailed her!

Fast forward to their engagement, Ronnie planned it out well in advance. He asked his brother-in-law to take pictures of them around New York City. This wasn’t out of the ordinary because Ronnie loves to capture their life together. Little did Katherine know that he had hidden the words “Will you marry me?” in the background of the pictures! He asked her at his 30th birthday party surrounded by both of their families with a slideshow of the pictures!! I just love how much thought went into the entire event!

Katherine and Ronnie, I CANNOT wait for your wedding in less than ONE MONTH!! I hope you love these pictures because I really do!
