I am behind on blogging this fall because it has been such a crazy year of weddings, but I couldn’t go much longer before sharing Kayle and Ryan’s gorgeous wedding at Virginia Cliffe Inn! It was such a beautifully timeless wedding, with touches of greenery, whites and navy! I was obsessed with this whole day because these two are such kind people! But also because I shot my first ever wedding at this venue, and I was excited to see how much my photos have grown since shooting that wedding! It was a special day all around!

We watched the weather forecast all week hoping for no rain, but it didn’t look it was going to clear up until that morning. It was like the day was perfectly timed with the weather! It rained all morning, and about an hour before the ceremony, everything stopped! It was a miracle and definitely perfect timing! The amazing vendors helped wipe down ceremony chairs to make Kayle and Ryan’s wedding day dreams a reality! And it was truly gorgeous!

I also loved how they included their Pittsburgh cookie table tradition at their wedding! Friends and family all cooked cookies and treats for their wedding, which were set up so beautifully! Then, after the ceremony, some of the family helped move some of the cookies onto the ladder that Kayle’s dad made for the wedding! The ladder looked awesome as a champagne tower, but I loved it even more as a cookie display in the reception! It was gorgeous!

Kayle had a piece of her grandma and mom’s dress lace sewn into her dress, and I love this little detail!
