I am honored to share this beautiful newborn lifestyle session with you all today! I don’t usually photograph newborns or families because I love my couples way too much! BUT, when I got the chance to capture this new little family, I couldn’t wait!! Lexi was my giveaway winner from January! When she won, she knew immediately that she wanted family photos done when her son was born, and I am so glad that she did!

Can we all just agree that there is something special about having your first baby?! All of a sudden, you have a family. You have this little baby who needs you and that you love more than you ever thought possible. This is why I love capturing newborn sessions! I have known Lexi as long as I have known Josh!! It feels like forever ago that we were all in the same Spanish class before Josh and I started dating. It wasn’t until the following year that Lexi and I became friends through Young Life and through dating Josh! I have always looked up to Lexi and her sister Sami, so it was really nice to visit with them on Saturday!

Lexi and Steve, you two are adorable parents! I am so excited for you!! You are starting the most amazing journey of raising your son, and thank you so much for including me in a small part of it!!
