This engagement session was so much fun! One of the things I LOVE about this amazing job is that I can discover new places that I love in Northern Virginia! Thanks to Rosie and Jason, Daniel’s Run Park and Depaul’s Urban Farm have officially been added to the list after this engagement session!

I was so impressed with Rosie and Jason on Saturday because it was raining the entire session. I even went out to Target Saturday morning to prepare and bought a rain jacket to stay dry!  It was supposed to be super rainy, but we got really lucky with mostly just mist. Either way, Rosie and Jason were AMAZING. They were naturals, and made my job easy! Then, at Depaul’s Urban Farm, being a more public place, these two continued to rock their session like no one else was around. I seriously love when my couples completely trust me like these two do!

Not only are these two ADORABLE, but they also brought their cute dog Sofie! I have been blessed with so many amazing and sweet dogs recently at my sessions, and Sofie was no different. She seriously stole my heart the moment I met her!

While the entire session was a dream, my favorite part was when Rosie and Jason pulled out their hats! They put on their Capitals Stanley Cup Champions hats. Then, Jason put on a hat in memory of his grandfather who recently passed. Moments like these make me so grateful to have the opportunity to capture memories that will last forever.

Rosie and Jason are such amazing people who I admire tremendously, and I am honored to be a part of this exciting time in their lives. The best part of this engagement session is that I can see them again in less than 2 months at their WEDDING!! YAY!! Jason is a firefighter, and they are getting married at a firehouse in DC! I love how their wedding is going to reflect their lives so well. I cannot wait!! Stay tuned for that amazing wedding in February!
