If I could work with couples like Kathlyn and Zach every weekend, I would. These two are the kindest, most thoughtful people I have ever met. They love their friends and family so well. It was so evident through the many conversations, toasts, and hugs exchanged throughout their wedding day. They were filled with joy, but also emotional and weren’t afraid to shed a tear. (Just wait until you see Zach’s reaction when he read his vows to Kathlyn!!) They were so incredibly happy to be finally getting married after postponing their May wedding, but also just wanted to spend time with each other and their friends and family. Can you tell I loved being a part of their wedding day!?

I still can’t get over how perfect their wedding day was. Murray Hill has the most beautiful view of the Potomac River, a beautiful old home for the bridal party to get ready in, and a perfect little barn for the reception. Every single detail was perfection from the beer truck to the dusty blue dresses with beautiful bouquets to the bike with the “Just Married” sign on the back. But for Kathlyn and Zach, it was clear it wasn’t about the details. Their wedding day was about the people coming to celebrate them. It was about singing Happy Birthday in the morning to celebrate Kathlyn’s friend, Lauren. It was about spending cocktail hour mingling instead of taking pictures. It was about soaking up every moment and taking mental pictures. They even quoted The Office in their vows and throughout the day to make sure they would remember!

After their first look, Zach and Kathlyn wanted to share their vows privately, so we found this beautiful pool in what felt like a private garden for them! Isn’t this the cutest!?
