Hi guys! If you are new around here, I am Hanna! I am a mom to two boys, a wife to my high school sweetheart, Josh, and a wedding photographer who loves to work with joyful brides! I use way too many explanation points and am always so excited to be a part of a wedding day! One of my goals for 2021 (and 2020 if I’m being honest… and then, you know, the world kinda crashed) is to blog more! I will be creating blogs to help you plan your next photo session and also get to know me! It’s so important that you enjoy working with the photographer you hire because that will create genuine photos that feel like you! If you don’t feel comfortable, it will show!
So, I’m gonna start a new series that will hopefully continue this year: My Favorite Things! Hopefully this will help you get to know me and also help you find some new things!
If you have a certain topic or idea you want me to highlight on my next Things I’m Loving post, feel free to leave a comment below!
So now, for the first Things I’m Loving post! This post is about the things I always love, so that we can start off strong!
1. Comfy blankets
This is nothing new, but since it’s my first Things I’m Loving post, I figured I’d start here. I’m currently snuggled under a furry blanket with my laptop on top and coffee nearby. This is usually how I look, snuggled on the couch!
2. Tostitos Chips
If you have seen my stories on Instagram, you know my obsession with having Tostitos on hand at all times. I usually have a bag next to me while I’m editing and always have extra in the pantry!
3. Rachel Allene
I love my growing collection of coffee mugs, and some of my favorites are from Rachel Allene’s shop! But more than that, her SWEATSHIRTS are the most comfy sweatshirts ever and are adorable! I bought her fall and Christmas sweatshirts and just know I will need her newest one soon!
4. 50mm 1.2
This is my FAVORITE go-to lens that I use at every session. But more than that (and why I’m including it in this post!) is that I use it for all of our daily family pictures! I leave my camera out with a family memory card in it so that I can quickly grab it if something happens that I want to remember. If you are looking to improve your DSLR, no matter what kind of camera you have, I HIGHLY recommend the Canon 50mm 1.2!
5. Faux Plants
I wish I had just invested in all faux plants instead of trying to keep fiddle leaf trees alive! I bought a fiddle leaf fig tree from QVC recently, and I LOVE IT! So many of you commented on the picture from my stories on Instagram, so I know you guys think it looks real too! But Target is also selling a ton of really pretty small faux plants that would add so much to dark corners of my house!
6. My Baby Books
Let me start by saying I am NOT a good baby book mom. I don’t write all the details down, and I don’t remember every little detail. I don’t remember the exact week or month that Trevor walked, got his first tooth, or said “Mama”. But I do have stories written down from our vacations, the funny things he says like, “I’m not a GENIUS!!! I TREVOR!!” I have Kept Collection’s baby book for both of my boys and love how simple and customizable it is. It’s a baby book I can keep on display and write something quickly inside!
I love getting to know you just like you are getting to know me, so I’d love it if you would tell me something about you in the comments below! Or tell me what you want to know about me! I can’t wait to share more of my favorite things soon!
