When I first met Meredith, I knew she was meant to be a Hanna Morgan Bride. She is laidback, sweet, loves wine, and wanted a wedding photographer who she was comfortable with and felt like a friend. And from the start, we clicked! I knew I would love Kevin just as much as I loved Meredith! But Kevin did not like taking pictures. In fact, it took almost 3 months to convince him to do an engagement session together! Then, after our engagement session together, the man who said he hated taking pictures ended up actually having fun!

At the end of their intimate Athenaeum wedding in Alexandria, Meredith pulled me aside and explained how much she loved me (which I, of course, told her I loved her too!) and told me how much I have changed Kevin’s view of pictures! She said that Kevin actually loved the pictures I surprised them with on their wedding day, and he has never said that before!

If I was a crier, I would have cried right there on that dance floor!! I am so happy and thankful for couples like Meredith and Kevin. Who truly value the photos I give them. Who feel more like friends than clients. Who are brave enough to kiss in front of a beer fest in Waterfront Park in Alexandria just to get the water picture that Meredith wanted! Who, without question, walked a few blocks away from their party to capture sunset portraits together! All because they trusted me!

Meredith and Kevin’s ceremony was my favorite part of their wedding day. They said “I do” in front of their immediate families in an intimate and beautiful ceremony. It was so special and really reflected who they are as a couple. Then, they partied the night away with all of their extended family and best friends!
