I love exploring new places with my awesome Hanna Morgan couples, and the Constitution Gardens in Washington, DC was so much fun to explore with Meg and Adam during their engagement session!! The willow tree branches just create such a dreamy and beautiful backdrop for this fun engagement session! (Just scroll down and see what I mean!) I just couldn’t stay away from the gorgeous branches!!
When Meg first told me she wanted the Constitution Gardens, I hate to admit that I had to look up where it was located! In the four years that we have lived in Northern Virginia, Josh and I have explored DC a little. Our goal was to visit all the Smithsonian museums, beautiful national gardens, and monuments! We haven’t reached that goal yet, but I’m so thankful I get to continue reaching that goal with awesome people like my brides and grooms!
Meg and Adam met freshman year in college. They were both interested in each other but didn’t want anything serious at the time. So for three years they basically dated without being officially boyfriend and girlfriend!! It’s the classic Nicolas Sparks novel where the girl and boy are meant to be but don’t know it yet! I love it!! Then, three years later, Adam got a job offer in Seattle, and he had to decide what to do. Suddenly, Adam and Meg knew they were meant to be and started dating officially!
Before Adam asked Meg to marry him, he told her to expect a proposal on Thanksgiving. Then, regretting his decision to tell her when he was proposing, he asked her a week early at Meg’s parent’s home!! He set the ring on her seat when she left the room. When she returned Adam dropped to his knee!! I love how perfect that proposal sounds!! So intimate and special!
Meg & Adam,
I hope you LOVE this sneak peek of our session! I just loved our time together and cannot wait for 2020 to arrive so we can celebrate your wedding together!!
