There is such electricity between Alyssa and Nathan. You can see it in the way that he looked at her walking down the aisle with her arm wrapped around her daddy. You could see it in the quiet moment of prayer they had right before their ceremony ended where they rested their heads together and prayed for their marriage. But, my favorite moment from the entire day was right after the ceremony. Alyssa and Nathan were so joyful and couldn’t keep their eyes off of each other! They just wanted to be together! Alyssa and Nathan hosted all of their family and friends at Winding Creek Farm in Lovettsville, Virginia on Saturday! It was the cutest rustic barn I have ever seen! They made it feel really cozy even on the coldest night with a huge bonfire and great dancing!

During the ceremony, the officiant talked of how Alyssa and Nathan met, and I am once again in awe of God’s plan for these two. I’ve heard this story a few times (you can read it in their engagement blog post here!), but it gets better every time. Because, without God, there is no way these two would know each other! Sitting on that bus in Australia, miles from home, Alyssa and Nathan talked for 10+ hours straight. They couldn’t start dating on their mission trip, but they both knew it was God’s plan for them to be together. And, as I said above, they love each other SO much that you can see their love in everything they do! I was honored to be there to document this part of their love story!
